In the province of Chubut, in a small town called Cholila, we find ourselves at this beautiful ranch surrounded by forests and rivers. It is 231 km from Bariloche Airport, 163 km from the city of Esquel (via National Route 40 and Provincial Route 71, both in very good condition), and 103 km from the city of Esquel (via Provincial Route 71).

Our horseback riding tour is designed to welcome both experienced riders and complete beginners. The entire route is led by a certified guide with extensive knowledge of the area, who will ensure safety and learning throughout the journey.

Welcome reception at the Lodge with appetizers and drinks. Full trip briefing with our guides. Three-course dinner with premium Argentine wines.

First Horseback ride:
Meet your horses and guides. Horseback riding with breathtaking mountain views. Country lunch and return to the lodge. Three-course dinner paired with top-shelf Argentine wines.

Second Horseback Ride: Adventure in the Deep Forest
Full-day expedition along the most scenic trails of the national park. Horseback riding with lunch in nature. Traditional dinner at the lodge.

Third Horseback Ride: Experience at the Summit
Advanced horseback ride to panoramic viewpoints. Wildlife observation including condors and native deer. Farewell barbecue.

Last day:
After breakfast, your adventure with us comes to an end until our next meeting.

The package is designed for 5 days and 4 nights, but can be adapted to your needs, with a minimum of 2 nights. The price per night per person is 500USD for a single room and 390USD for a double room. The lodge has 5 double rooms with the option of single beds.

INFORMATION TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:

Los Alerces National Park, located a few kilometers away and declared a World Heritage Site, was established in 1937 to protect the largest concentration of ancient Alerce trees (Fitzroya cupressoides) in Argentina. These globally threatened trees are the second longest-living species in the world and are endemic to South America. The Alerce trees in the park are between 1,000 and 3,000 years old.

Fly Fishing

Fishing is available any day of your stay at the lodge. The region's rivers and lakes, such as the Futaleufú, Arrayanes, Rivadavia, Carrileufu, and Corcovado, are renowned for their excellent sport fishing opportunities. These bodies of water are ideal for fly-fishing enthusiasts, as most are catch-and-release. Here you can find rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, and landlocked salmon, offering a varied and exciting fishing experience.

Birdwatching

The lodge offers a unique opportunity for birdwatching enthusiasts, with a wide variety of species in their natural habitat. Birds such as the Andean condor, Magellanic woodpecker, great grebe, black-chested buzzard-eagle, chucao tapaculo, rufous-collared sparrow, peregrine falcon, and great kiskadee, among many others, can be seen. Each excursion provides the chance to explore the natural beauty of Patagonia and enjoy birdwatching in a tranquil yet vibrant setting.
