We meet at 8:30 AM in Ocumazo, a small community of 30 people located about an hour from Humahuaca. It's a beautiful, picturesque, and productive village, with charming adobe houses that have a typical northern Argentine flair. After nearly five hours in the saddle, we'll arrive at El Hornocal, the famous 14-colored mountain, which is truly stunning and beautiful. After having lunch with the mountain as our backdrop, we'll return to Ocumazo along the riverbank, arriving as the sun sets. Along the trail, both on the way there and back, we'll encounter various native animals like vicuñas and alpacas. All meals and beverages are included. Your belongings will be carried by support donkeys or mules throughout the adventure.
